Having followed many AOK Collective artists individually for years, witnessing their collective performance at The Knitting Factory NYC as they opened for legends Das Efx and Jeru the Damaja was a revelation. They faced a tough crowd, one primarily there for old-school heroes and known for their critical observation of unfamiliar acts.
